I doubut two stepping would be an appropriate washing techinque in your case I would just us an alum brightner on the tans and rails as necessary

Bond breaker would be the best product we have it has the rinse agents and gloss enhancers and will give you your best "brushless" clean. This product will perform like the more agressive products on the market, but only to the dirt, while still being caustic free. With the addition of the gloss enhancers each time you wash it gets a little easier.(unless you start covering it with tar or somthing)
