The Comet Pump is NOT "Chlorine Proof"
I think David from Reef had one, he now has a Udor.
The glass filled Poly manifolds LEAK all over the place.
MY advice ?
Get a Delevan 5800 12 volt pump and a Titan Hose Reel.
Used 5/8 hose, NOT 1/2, and certainly not 3/8 hose.
Keep a spare Delevan for back up.
Rinse it all out good when done cleaning.

You can use a Phelps Wand if you like a wand, or you can get a spray gun and the Delevan 5800 from Bob at Pressure Tek in Ohio.

Someone bought one of these, and they would not fix it under warranty.'

You can get a Delevan 5800 and everything for FAR less, even with a back up pump.
