That is very disheartening. I was last in the Minneapolis - St. Paul region about 32 yrs. ago and aside from the odor around the stockyards, remember the cities as a very nice place to live.
Sorry to hear the gang plague has reached your area of the country. I thought it was only pervasive in the big Northeast and West Coast cities. Some U.S. urban areas are devolving into 3rd world ghettos.
The state of Minn. is very pretty, especially up north with all the woods and lakes. You do have some hot summers and very cold winters!
