Yes, one would not do Laundry with just bleach, needs a little soap, preferrably one designed to work WITH Chlorine.

But any soap may be used, as long as it is used right away.

Soaps not designed for chlorine will weaken it over time.

Plenty of people just use Ajax or dawn, and use it right away.

TSP is designed for chlorine use, and stays strong in the tank longer.
