    Wanted: Sirocco pev2

    Hello,

Decided it's time to add more to our trailer instead of just a sump pump. I am looking for a used Sirocco PEV2 vacuum recovery system with the vacuberm. Not sure if its an option or if they all come with it, but I need the auto-pump out system so I dont have to baby sit it. Oil-water seperator would be a great bonus as well but not necessary. Going to be using it to collect runoff from fleet cleaning.

    Thanks!!!

Oh anybody who has similiar vacuum systems that are homemade, or somebody who would build a homemade system for me is also an option. I am not interested in the vacuboom though do to all the dirt, debris and grime that comes off some of these trucks.

Contact Sun Brite Supply in Georgia, or click here: waste water recovery equipment for pressure washing I think they have the best prices on them.

I have one, we bought it from Pete @ Sunbrite back about the end of March, we have the oil water seperator, polishing filters, Steel Eagle Hose reel and hose as well as the berm, sandsnakes, 4x4 drain cover, oil socks, defoamer ect...... I love the system, works great and easy to use.

Yeah I have heard amazing things about the system. Its reassuring that I am looking at quality equipment. How does this automatic pump out work? Is there screens or socks you put inside the tank to capture bigger debris that gets sucked up? Right now I dont have room on the trailer for the oil water seperator. Would like it, but I am going to see how the oil snakes do first. Do the oil socks go right on the berm? do you have to weight down the berm or no? So far Sunbrite seems to be the best choice with free shipping right now. What is the polishing filter if you dont mind me asking as well? Wish I had a nearby dealer so I could one work in person!!!

OK the tank itself has a 200 micron filter, the auto pumpout kicks in as soon a the water reaches a certain level then pumps out via a 1.5 inch hose, mine pumps into the oil waer seperstor (which also has a pump out system) it then pumps out to the polishing filters then back to the tank or to a sanitary sewer system.

Its a nice system just make sure the generator you have is large enough, at 210 cfm it sucks the water and the power, I do like the twin syitch it has when you can run all or half the cfm's

I don't have the OWS or the polishing filter but I may get them soon. The great thing about the system is you don't have to buy everything at once. You can get what you need, then add to it. I'd thought about selling my electric one to buy a gas powered one instead due to the power demand. But, I've decided to mount a high powered generator on my new rig, then I can use it for lights during night jobs.

the sirocco is okay, but I prefer my fury, though it is a bit more expensive. I do have both, though. I justnever use the sirocco, and use the fury most.

If you're ready to free up some space I know someone who will give the sirocco a loving home.

It is recommended to have at least a 6500 Watt generator to run the Vac and the auto pump out. There should be two 30 amp circuits available.

Even with a gas powered vacuum you still need a generator to run the sump pumps, you just don't need as much wattage.
