Amazing! - Feb 2nd, 07, 11:19 AM

Check out what this Italian guy does with wood. I've attached a picture and his site has lots more. Very cool!

I have never seen anything like that in my life. This man is a sculptor of wood that I'd rank up there with some of the greatest artists of all time.

Neil,

What a great find! A wacky Venetian woodworker/artist that looks like Dali. His creations are terrific.

My best friend is a serious woodworker thats in dire need of a chuckle at the moment (his wife is in the hospital with serious heart issues). If anything can lift his spirits its your link. Thanks much.

Right on! This reinforces in me (damn I need a constant one, too) that having some kind of hobby or muse is so important to stay balanced. I saw the Dali-esque in this man's work, too. I'm diggin most the side table and chair. I tie flys to relax. It works my hands, create mimics of nature from natural materials, drink a few very cold beers, and then get to catch fish or mostly give to friends from my efforts.

Taken from JL...Life is goooood.

cheers,
/neil
