I think they need to drug test McCains VP choice Palin and her husband, they are smoking some pot up there in Alaska. Their kids names are Track, Trig, Bristol, Willow & Piper. I heard they grow some good grass up there LOL

I believe that the whole separation thing was directed towards Jefferson when he was a governor and they asked him if he would "make" his states religion the nations if elected. There is no seperation of Church and State.
The first schools here were church schools and the first text books were Bibles. Just look at the history of the oldest schools in the country. You might be suprised.

But then I have to also hear things of some major government funding of alternative energy and other important things.

Why a younger woman? Because all other things being equal, a younger (conservative) woman will garner the support of those who wouldn't necessarily support McCain by himself.

10. Steps on Obama’s claims to have been a reformer, as he reformed nothing (much less the corrupt mare’s nest of Chicago arrangements), while she was a dragon-slayer up in Alaska.
11. As a mother of five, one a Down Syndrome baby, helps her side take on the Democrats on abortion extremism and the Born Alive bill.
12. Reignites the deep and unhealed stresses inside the Democrats, some of whom will now wonder more loudly than ever why they didn't pick Hillary.
13. Counters Michelle in a way Cindy couldn’t.
14. Counter-intuitively, makes the issue of Obama’s light resume more potent than ever. Her lack of experience is no more than his is. And he’s--to use a term from Alaska, and the Iditarod--their lead dog

I have to say, I'm in that group. I was not looking forward to this election at all. Notice my avatar. Now, I'm a little excited about it. I won't just be voting against Nobama anymore, I'll actually be voting for the old guy and Vise President Palin.

My neighbor across the street who has a son that served in the first gulf war and 3 tours as a marine this time - said O'bama has his vote. He really likes Mitt. I am meeting more and more guys that use to be staunchly republican, that are now switching over. All that Republican Rag time crap that filled the airwaves finally is dawning on many folks as being just a heap of lies. For the great majority of Bush's terms we had a republican controlled congress, supreme court, and presidency.
