I set up my new rig with reclamation for about $1000.00. A 135 tank, two hose reels and hose, a little giant sump pump, 2.5" single lined fire hose for booms, rig up a oil absorber used in boat bilges in my tank and a small pump to disharge if gravity isn't enough to drain tank to sanitary sewer. I also have a small generator to run the pumps. Takes less than 1/2 hour to setup and put up. It doesn't have to be expensive, and it might not recover 100% like a vacuum boom, but it captures all but 1/8" that usually evaporates before it even reaches a storm drain.

There's the question, so if you don't "dare", you can still answer it!

Not sure how a question about what you DO with reclaim water is a trick question....What you do with it is what you do with it...there's no right or wrong or secret answer.

If the water inspector was their to see the bad part, and ordered him to suck out his spill, and we were not told of any other illegal discharge, then where ever he was putting it must have been okay.

What's your point? Every City has their own twist and without knowing which where the guy was from, then it can only be guessed at what is the right answer.

I recycle it, or water the lawn.

What's confusing about that? The homeowner's lawn, Alan's lawn, his neighbor's lawn, who cares?

Mike, If i take the water off site I have violated laws. Unless I have the proper handling permits and licenced to do so. Thats the point and the difference.
