We do recover most of the time but it is because our customer base is in the trash industry and they have wash pads that we wash on or in a landfill cell. As far as having equipment to recover we are looking into that now, so we can be more in compliance with the EPA. It will come down to everyone will have to have recovery equipment before to long.

If you do fleets its been the law for years, If your washing any vehicle you should already be complient.

Of course if you have pads and the system actually works then your ok.

Funny trash companys park the vehicles on gravel, knowing they will have to remove all the dirt anyway.

almost 90% in arizona are on gravel. when they vacate they replace the ground.

When we start these topics in the future we should specify fleets or pressure washing. two totally different animals.

I just want to be compliant.
If you are fleet washing you need to filter the oils, solids etc. from your wash water. The you should be releasing it back to an onsite sanitary sewer or a grassy area for bioremediation.

If you are doing commercial flat work,as long as, the water remains on the property and goes donw the drains on the property you will be ok.odern properties have underground dry wells that contain waste water from cleaning and rain.

The ines between fleet and flat work have been blurred. They are very different.
