In CA you need to be certified and take a class and one of the requirements is no facile hair like in a beard.
Special gear and clothing also are a requirement here. There are few large companies here that do nothing but Haz-Mat. |

in my experience,to be chosen to provide haz mat services, you have to bid on a state level, and most of the companies i have looked at are multi million dollar outfits, that can afford to keep 100k on the books at all times while conducting business with very expensive overhead and operating costs.

Yes, you have to be trained, and the guys do certification in the hazmat area. This is not for our business. This is for my other job.
I figured I'd start here, to see if anyone had any ideas ... before I try some other avenues. Thanks to those that have replied so far, and those that may in the future! |

Private people do this in Phoenix, they are just pressure washing companies. One of the larger ones are fire fighters that currecntly work for the city and own the units that respond. I have never looked very hard because I dont know anyone and I dont like getting work this way. Yes it pays large $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ the response units get 300 and hour for vehicle clean up. even more money when the Bodies have been mutilated. The last tanker that spilled they charged the insurance company 72 g's. the clean up lasted about three weeks. I personally like steady work and lower over head. the unit that responded to that clean up was built by a freind of mine and it cost about 365 G'S. It's a full reclaiming rig and its mounted on a semi trailer and powered by a cummins diesel I believe two. also requires a two water trucks if they cannot tap a water line.
The city ones that respond to vehicle clean up are fairly inexpensive, 35 G's Turning Dirt into $$$$$$$$$$ www.pressurewashinginstitute.com Call Anytime 602-694-2680 |
