reclaiming - Nov 20th, 05, 01:01 PM

Reason for my poll is I saw a pressure washing crew cleaning the Post Office trucks and they had no reclaim equipment, all that water went right down the storm drain.

Talk about how tough the government is on making sure you do not break the law makes me wonder just how tough they really are.

How annoying that is. All I hear from everyone is that the USPS contracts are ridiculously strict in reference to reclaiming. I guess it's okay to send it down the drain as long as your price is right?

Maybe it was on a wash pad?

Ron it was not on any washpad, it was right where the trucks were parked. I watched for a few minutes from a higher level parking lot.

They made no effort to do one thing with the water and had no reclaim or berms or anything but a washer and few other things on the trailer.

The other night as we were finishing dinner at Mimi's there was a pressure washer with an enclosed trailer, no name but he had it all and was setting up his reclaim hoses.

Now that is what I call doing the right thing.
