Question purchasing equipment - Feb 12th, 07, 02:06 PM

Hi everyone, I am new to the buisness and was looking into purchasing some reclaimation equipment for my buisness. Has anybody every looked into fedral grants for purchasing their equipment and if so how did it go? I figure if we try to do something to protect our enviorment maybe the government would support this.

The closest you can get is a SBA loan. Which essentially is not a loan from Uncle Sam but a loan guarantee. For most small business or start-ups if you have a good business plan, decent credit and about 30% of needed capital you could get the money you need. Your local megabank should have a business banking officer that can give you some pointers. A lot of good info is on the web at www.sba.gov . Good luck.

Go to your state's epa website and see if they have grant oppuritunities posted.

In PA, there are tons of funds available, even reimbersements for purchases made.

The SBA loans have clauses in them encouraging environmental protection.

What type of OWS systems are people using? Does anyone have feedback on the Hydro Tek AZV55? I have also looked at the Water Treatment Tech MD 48. Any feedback from people who have used these would be appreciated.
