Capture and Filtering Systems, Disposal - Feb 13th, 07, 01:34 PM

I have been doing wood restoration and am thinking about adding enviromentally friendly flatwork cleaning. Here are the questions I have:

1. What equipment do you reccomend and why?

2. How do you dispose of your captured runoff?

I am sure I will have more questions later. I am down in Texas and talked to the TCEQ small business liason and he stated that capturing was the way to go. He also told me that the city waste water treatment facility should be able to process my captured runoff and to register all vehicles for hauling it. I have contacted the city but just keep getting the talk to this person, no talk to that person etc. any suggestions?

Thanks

Check with your state dot some states require you to be a licensed waste hauler to remove water from the wash site.

I have a Clean and Recovery rig and I love it - it saves time by recovering as I go and its faster as well - I dont charge the customer a premium rate but I am doing it in half the time. So I guess it is premium rate....
In Gwinett County they charge me $50 to dispose of 3000 gal. of waste wash water.

Ryan you have the guy that wrote the books on enviromental cleaning only 3 hrs from you. His name is Robert Hindeliter and he's having a Convention in Texas in a few weeks. Check out UAmCc - Contractors On The Move and check out the itinerary to see when he's speaking.
