I think it will do fine on the gum removal but you might be really hindered on the rinsing portion. Your big machine can handle the cleaning and a quick rinse, then the little guy will be a big help and not slow the big one down when he has to get the gum.

Cool!.. now combine it all together into a tight little portable package and make it do steam. Could work good for engine compartments and maybe even vent hood work eh?..
