I believe CLR is oxalic acid based, but isn't real strong. Try getting some oxalic acid and mix your own. Not sure if it will work, but start with about a pound to 3-5 gallons of hot water.(Hot water is needed to dissolve it properly). Maybe someone can suggest a different product, but i just wanted to point out the CLR was maybe just not strong enough. You can get oxalic at most hardware stores sold as powdered wood bleach, but so is sodium percarbonate, so read the contents.
