Few questions on this job (pic included) - May 20th, 08, 02:27 PM

Its not nearly as bad as some install garages, but still rather dirty.. Would I be ok with hot water and my surface cleaner or would I need a good degreaser/cleaner as well? If so what would you recommend, I usually don't do flatwork but a job is a job.. Also roughly how much would you charge for a job like this? And would the surface cleaner strip the yellow parking lines?

thanks for any advice

Hot water will do an okay job, but for superior results a good degreaser should be used. You may get some flaking on the lines, but not complete removal unless you work at them.

Hit those yellow lines with the stripper of your choice, and then get a rotating nozzle and work them off. The rotating nozzle may work on it's own.

I think that he's trying to avoid the lines, Am I wrong?
If you have to preserve them just work with your surface cleaner around them and give 'em a quick pass to even the color and you should be ok.

sorry if I misunderstood you.
