This is just my opinion, but I really like my Delco RK-43's. I have two of them, and they are reliable, easy to work on, and just generally well designed. I did pay the extra to get the Kohler motor on them, and am thrilled with that combination. I am not a big fan of the Briggs, even though I am certified by Briggs to work on them. They like to break pistons. I have also used Hondas with good results, but the Kohlers rock.

I have two Hydrotek Skids; one 8 gpm and one 5.6 gpm. I have had good luck with them. I agree with scott, the Kohler moters rock. They are on both of my skids and I built a 5.6 gpm gear drive on a Kohler... The machine has ran forever with no problems.

The hydroteks are a little difficult to work on, fortunately I havent any breakdowns other than a thermostat on one. That was an easy install.

Matt
