Graffiti on glass - Aug 17th, 08, 04:26 PM

I have a job coming up and there is a lot of graffiti on the building.
The limestone is not the problem . There is a lot of glass with paint and graffiti on the glass.I like taginator but I have not used it on glass. I am afraid it will etch it. Has anyone had this problem and what did you use .
I wrote to tag ETS I am waiting for a reply.
Any help is always a great help
Thanks

On glass it's easy to remove. Soap water and a 6 inch razor blade. Scrape it off and rinse.

Graf on glass... - Aug 18th, 08, 07:36 PM

James is dead on.
I would suggest that you avoid chem application.Razor the plate.
Make sure the surface is wet with a surfactant to help with paint.Never dry scrape.
Furthermore, you should take a look at the IWCA website.Sorry Rod and Beth.
There is a need for you to get the customer to sign a waiver of your responsibility for scratches. In recent years there has arisen an
anomaly
of production "debris" that gets caught under the razor, and tears up the glass.

Sorry for what? It's great advice. I have sent people to IWCA many times in the past. It's a great org for window people.
