Emulsifier Plus is a good choice, it will remove the oxidation build up on the surface and has gloss enhancers for a after wash shine. You can use it with bleach if you need to for heavy mildew on the surface.

sheeeeet metal -
Sep 28th, 08, 03:28 AM
G'day Lucas,
Great work. I've found that a brush (or better still a long window mop) is great for sheet metal, and not as slow as you might think. A lot of dust and oil residue sticks to the metal and only the physical contact by the mop will lift it off. Cheers, and good luck with the new endeavour. The sheet metal wasn't horrible to clean...it was the sooted garage doors. They were polluted by the truck exhaust. I had to try several different methods to removing the stains. Came down to buying some heavy duty degreaser, applying several times and scrubbing and rinsing. I definately had to use the scrubber to break any of the grime free.
