No home can be built without the consumption of the land area. The land could have been used for cultivation or any other nature conservation purposes in case. But this is a very rare ideology been generated ever in the human beings. The buildings and the constructions have become ineradicable elements from ones life. The construction leads to the pollution of the air to a great extent and sometimes it may extend to the water and the sound pollution as well. The love and inclination towards nature could not be justified with the stoppage of the construction of buildings as a whole, since it is also counted to be a part of the overall development as well.
However this ideology is not practical, man has instead found another way out to conserve the nature. The building of homes is unavoidable and hence a different strategy has been adopted where through the building itself, nature can be preserved. Such buildings are called the green buildings. This ideology is applicable in the building of homes as well. The green homes thus built will not only be a positive step on the part of the nature but also on the part of the human beings as well. The materials used will be eco-friendly and the home will be best suited for the environment and the nature. Thus a green home is a home which goes hand in hand with the natural world.
Studies have also proved that green homes and buildings do increase the productivity of the inhabitants. They feel more energetic and rejuvenated, being at these houses when compared to a normally built house. The remodeling of the house is also easier when compared, and will be an added advantage both on the part of the nature and on the part of the human beings. The materials used for building will always be in accordance with the health of the inhabitants. Minimum use of non-renewable materials is one of the prime features of the green homes. Thus the use of wood will be also minimized ands instead mud bricks and finely shaped stones will be used. These materials can withstand the climatic changes and responds accordingly. This response of the materials towards nature also affects the health of the human beings in a positive way as the materials are not artificial and are directly from the nature itself. Thus for a Green Home Builder, it will be a bit risky to get the materials for the building. The light and air passage is also taken into account. Thus in every sense the green home can be called ecological homes.
