An old cut and dry version of Peachtree werks fer me..My terms and contract speak stuff goes right on quote that gets turned into invoices. Product use can be logged internally for each invoice in it's note section. Each service whether based on sq. ft. or flat rates is an inventory item and each is linked to it's own income account (chart of accounts). Such programs these days surely have everything in way of job costing or inventory reordering type tasks all covered. What they probably lack compared to dedicated programs like service ceo is more specific company templates that already have the accounts configured and maybe more specific form designs already made.

Some of our hoodcleaning dealers use ServiceCEO. Its a bit costly but if you are handling and scheduling over 500 restaurants to clean you need to go into this integrated software that schedules, plots directions, work orders, bills etc. I am currently using Quickbooks Premier for Professional Servicess 8.0 but will eventually go to ServiceCEO.

I have been using insight direct software for years. Started with "service works" and really liked the program. I upgraded to service CEO a couple years back and can't say enough good about the program. This program pretty much does it all, or as little as you like. Certainly not cheap. But well worth the investment, in my opinion.
