Hmm never heard of it but i'm pretty happy with Norton System Works.

I still say to be safe it's good to have 2 drives so you can keep your important files on the secondary drive. You have your operating system on your primary drive so if you get a virus or your drive crashes from windows your info will still be there on the second drive.Of course still back up on DVD/CD or external drives.

Yes! I think it is better than Norton and McAfee. Go to the geek/hacker forums. They always know the best stuff.

I've used AVG free anti-virus on my laptop and have had no problems. Of course, we're all only one click away from disaster....

AVG won't be free much longer. Avast is good and reliable and uses less system resources than Norton or McAfee.

I've been using it for over 4 years on 2 different PC's. It and AVG are both excellent choices.

What makes you say that? They just released version 7.5 free, and even extended support for 7.1 for another month to allow time for free users to upgrade to 7.5 free. It doesn't have all the features, but I like that it is small, doesn't seem to use much system resources, and, of course, is free. Free is always good.
