BBQ Grill Cleaning - Apr 17th, 07, 07:15 PM

Hello everyone,
This is my first post and am new to the biz. Lots of very usefull info here and have spent alot of time researching the archives which have so far answered all of the questions I've had-thanks to all of you.
My church is having a big rib roast fundraiser and the pastor has asked me to clean the 5 large grills they'll be using. I have a cold water rig which I realize cannot do what a hot water rig can as far as loosening the grease. Any suggestions for a degreasing in this situation?

5 cans of easy off and rinse......... seriously. Try this. It works. It has sodium hydroxide in it and works wonders on grill goo.

Thanks Adrian, makes sense, I guess having a commercial pressure washer isn't necessarily the solution!?

Your welcome dave, seems too simple, but it should work for you.
By the way, welcome to the forum, great place to learn here.

Thumbs up Testing...Signature OK? - Apr 18th, 07, 12:20 PM

Thanks for the input, hope I've got my signature straightened out. Have not figured out how to post pics yet but am working on it. It's raining today so it's good time to learn my way around TGS.

Get you a brazing torch from Homer D. Poe and a long handle scraper, you'll be done in no time.
