Plastic Sheeting - Jun 21st, 07, 07:43 PM

Is anyone buying plastic from Sherwin-Williams?? I'm buying 12'X200' 1.5ML from them and the price goes up every week. When I started buying from them the price was under $12 per roll. I just paid $27.51 per roll. Is any finding any better deals than that.

Sorry, my best deal is 6 mill clear by 1000 to 2000 feet for FREE. The down side is you have to cut it in half. It comes in a 4 foot roll that cut in half is 8 feet. Another downside is the weight, but hey free is free.

Nope, just protecting stuff to make money. It's all good.
But hey, what a great new idea. Can you please send me your deck and we'll send it back looking great

I use 1.5mil from Lowes 98cents for a 12x10 sheet and 1.68 for 20x20 rolls so you are only spending about 8.00 per job.

I use sherwin williams but the lowes little roll is great for about 2 hoods or one Mcdonalds. You can just get 5-6 rolls and keep them in the truck for the ususall stuff. I get 12x200 1.5 mil from sherwin williams for 27.10 a roll and 100x12 feet of 3 mil for 28.33 a roll. save the 3 mil for when there is a job that will require water to go laterally over the cook line and you want to make sure it stays dry.

They will work with you on priceing... Tell them that you have a better deal elsewhere and they can issue contractor pricing

Plastic for commerical restaurants - Aug 5th, 07, 02:14 PM

For the Cookline you can use 2 mil or to save money use 1.5. Use .31 mil thickness for the coldline which is the opposite the cookline to cover the plates etc. get 12' x 400' from anywhere, Lowes. etc. its cheap. I use the 1.5mil for the cookline. either 8.5 x 200' of if you have to cover over an oven use the 10' x 100' 2mil. Greg

Plastic sheeting - Aug 6th, 07, 12:43 AM

Hi guys,

First time posting here and wanted to say Hi!

I've been buying 12 by 200 by 1.5 mil from Diamond Vogel Paint for about $18 per box.

I talked to the manager and told him I need between 25 and 35 boxes per month and could he work on the price for me. It has been $18 for about six months now.

I also worked a deal with Dunn Edwards paint for 12 by 400 by 1 mil. at appx. $34 per box however they occasionally run out whereas Diamond Vogel always has about 20 boxes waiting for me.

Dave
