My first post. This video is great. I've been cleaning hoods for almost 20 years. My son just started greasing up. Can you tell me where I can purchase the scrapers you use to get bare metal? How long does an average hood take you to do?
Thanks,
Gary

Thanks Gary and welcome to the forum.

It's not so much the scrapers that are helping so much, it is the FOAM that does most of the work. Yes we do have a couple specialty scrapers that do a fantastic job, but the chemical is the trick. See this video...

Anthony,
Another cool video. I have a chemist that adds a foamer to my soap. I apply it with a 16 gallon landscaper type sprayer. A 12 volt battery pumps 60 psi. It does not foam like your foamer, but I get a good amount of cling. Some new accounts require scraping. Do you make those or buy them?
Thanks
GP

There is a special scraper that one of the Grease Police members sells, but it is only for Grease Police members. You are welcome to join the board and see if becoming a member would benefit you. Click here for The Grease Police discussion board.

Here is a video of the special scraper that I'm talking about. It is unbreakable and beats the heck out of any similar scrapers on the market.

So you are basically using a chem tank with something like a Shurflo pump? One of our members on the board has a chemical product that I call SNOT because it's basically a gel type caustic that give really good cling and does a good job. He also runs it through a shurflo with a chem tank.

There are a lot of different option for you out there, it's good to see you looking to get even better after 20 years of being in the business

I got a question .. for Hot Shot ( you don't cover up the salamandors... In the video I noticed they were not covered.... .. By the way nice video ... I was sitting at the desk yesterday going over all the photos I have take over the past 15 years and I must have used about 200,000 dollars worht of plastic ... in all this time .. But sadly now at 41 years of age I just cant crawl in duct work like I used too..

Hey John...sometimes I cover them, sometimes I don't. It just kinda depends on the situation I guess.

thanks for the compliment on the video
