New kitchen exhaust computer program - Feb 25th, 08, 07:02 PM

Hi I am Jamie with Fireman LLC Please look at our computer program

www.sirensystem.com This is free to use

SIREN System - Safety Inspection Report Email Notification System

Featuring the First Nationwide Kitchen Exhaust Hood Cleaning Checklist
This is a FREE reporting system and can be used by hood cleaners at no charge.

The SIREN System provides automatic email notifications to area fire marshals when a business in their coverage area is past due on an area of service or a service provider reports a violation.
The following is a list of functions the SIREN system provides for fire marshals:
On screen notice that new violations have been reported
Email notifications for past due service or violations
View/Print violation reports and past due reports
View/Print completed inspections (non-violation)
Hide/Show notices on any business or violation report
Stop receiving notices about a business
Ability to override a service provider's report
Color coded and filtered lists for easy assessment.
Approve/deny certified service providers
View/print before and after photos of completed inspections

Before and after photos will be especially helpful for exhaust hood cleaning and is available for all areas of service. This is also helpful for additions or changes to current safety equipment at a location.

The SIREN system is designed to ensure that required fire safety inspections are done on time, every time. There are no required fees to business owners or service providers to use the system.

The notification cycle gives the business owner time to correct the problem or have the inspection completed while keeping the fire marshal informed in the event that the issue is not resolved. SIREN establishes a timeline for all areas of inspection and will send an email when a required inspection is
past due.

HOOD CLEANERS
How the system works:
Visit www.sirensystem.com and click on Service Providers then click
"Log In or Sign Up" at the bottom of the page.
Enter your business information: Click on register
After your information is entered: Log back into your account
Enter the phone number of the account you are servicing - be sure to enter area code first
If the account number is not in the system a new icon will pop up to allow you to enter the new business
Enter new business information
Select yourself as the service provider
After the business phone number is in the system you can make a report anytime on this business just by entering the phone number
Enter inspection report
Click on the cleaning schedule
This will automatically enter the next due date for service
If you forget to service this account an auto email notification will be sent to you reminding you this service is past due for inspection
When reporting be sure to upload before and after pictures for the fire marshal review.
This feature will limit liability and is a great marketing tool.
In the top left hand corner click save inspection report
Contact your local fire marshal and tell them that you are using this system
Fire marshals will have to log in themselves to review your information
This system will allow you to make a full report on the hood system
This system will send the fire marshal an email if the business owner does not maintain the hood system or wants to skip a cleaning to save money
This system will send the fire marshal an email if you list a violation
Tell your clients you are using this system and all of your work is documented with the local fire marshal

This system is free for you to make all of your reports on: If you want to see your past reports there is a fee for you to review these reports after you have entered them, but is not required for you to use this system.
The cost per year is $89.95 to review your past reports and access advance search features. You can use SIREN to run your business, protect yourself by documenting your work and market your services by letting your clients know you take before and after photos of your quality work.

Business owners can also review your reports online: A regional manager can review all of your work from one computer. There is a small fee for restaurant owners to review these reports

Please remember there is NO CHARGE for you to use this system if you are using it to report to your local fire marshal. Please give us your feedback on this program:

This system (also for free) sends you an email if you have forgotten to service one of your clients. This is built into the system and you do not have to do anything to receive these email notifications.

If you would like any changes on the program your feedback is welcomed.

I hope this program will help our industry. By promoting this computer program in your area I hope this will increase your sales, increase your profits and give our industry a better reputation

Does your system also do fx, sh, sprinkler, lighting, FA reports? can each report be customized for each customer? I.E. if your customer has a dry system only, can your system reflect the dry system only? Or do you have to check "NO" for any questions at to wet and preaction? Is there a section that would allow pictures to be added, I.E., location of fuel shut-offs, water access, roof hatches? Does you system keep certain info hidden I.E. pricing, comments about job or customer? How is your system different from OnSite and other report tracking systems?

Exclamation Answers to Questions - Jul 30th, 08, 10:49 AM

The SIREN System currently has reports for:

Exhaust Hood Cleaning
Fixed Fire Systems
Stand Pipe and Hose
Sprinkler Systems
Alarm Systems
Fire Extinguishers

Each area of protection is filed as a separate report. Access to reports other than Exhaust Hood Cleaning is restricted to state certified fire protection companies. Before and after photos can be uploaded with each report.

Pricing and other business details are not part of SIREN reports.

At the advice of fire officials we have met with, we are editing our reports so that they contain all the information needed to meet NFPA standards for each area of protection. It is our goal that SIREN reports may one day be accepted as a means of electronic filing.

As far as I know, there are no public access web based applications that allow communication between service providers, business owners and fire officials.

I hope that this answers the questions Mr. Hicks raised.

P.S.

I have attached a PDF of the Service Provider's Manual for SIREN
