It's not the act of foaming, it's the waiting for the foam to do it's thing.

I guess I was a fast foamer. When I first started DSn it added about 15 min to the job. Now Im about 10 min faster than when I was foaming.

Well, I am....er I mean, I was a fast foamer too. I'm just tired of people calling me or pm'ing me asking for plans for a foamer. Instead of doing some research ie typing in "foamer" and finding where they can buy a foamer, they want everything handed to them on a silver platter. It doesn't matter that guys like Matt and others have spent thousands of dollars and tons of time figuring out what works best in different situations, they want their information and they want it now!

Well, I say UP THEIRS!!! They wanna look for a magic pill and think that foam will magically wisk away all the hard work involved in getting a system to bare naked metal, they will just be another hack out there turning out crappy work and giving foamers a bad name. I'm tired of helping morons that don't want to help themselves. You never hear of them contributing anything other than "Where can I get the plans to that foamer"...

I don't know what happened to me here lately, I use to be nice....hahahhahah Bunn, I think you are rubbing off on me dude.

Wow, you just made my night, that was funny!

I just don't understand why you come on here and bash foam, it really is the magic pill everybody is searching for. If you spend the money for a good foamer, you wont need to scrape anymore and you wont even need a pressure washer anymore! If I can just foam and rinse Chinese Grease, then who needs a pressure washer, let alone a scraper? I have to admit though, I am tired of people calling and emailing me, asking for information on how I built my foamer. If you want real foam that actually works, spend the money for a REAL foamer,: Stainless Steel Tank Foamers Those jerry-rigged, home-made foamers aren't all they're cracked up to be.

My air compressor died on a job last week. I grabbed my extra non-foaming keg and went to work. The non-foamer was faster than the foamer, because of the set up time. Yesterday, I got a new compressor. the first job I needed the foamer, hte 2nd job, I used the foamer, but could have used the non-foamer. This AM job, I foamed, but could have use the non-foamer.

Each job is different, as we gain experience, we know which tools work best. I am thinking of useing Rogers trick of using the same hose for foam and PW. I would like to have 2 chemical tanks set up. One tank for foam and one tank for non-foam.

It was Alexy's 250' one line pump up foamer with a hydraulic self pumping motor installed.

Was he still using the diesel fired self pumper or had he already converted to hydrogen?

HHO add that extra ingredient to push the foam that much farther, beyond 250'. Im going to park farther away just so I can run more hose. More is definitly better.

Yeah its seems like a competition.............who can park the furthest away and still foam.......................KEC is starting to become secondary to length of foamer hose.
