Some work form time to time usually in an emergency. They don't pay much at all and will usually find some guy just starting out who wants to brag that he cleans...(whoever). I'll get a call once in a while when they need it fixed or done right after they messed it up, if they are willing to pay my price great, otherwise I'm going home to see my family that evening.

What Paul said is true,
You can clean for them, all you are is a sub for them and are reciving a small portion of what they are charging.
these accounts fall into 3 catagories
1 You are doing alot of jobs in a given area for not much money
2 You are doing few jobs in rural areas that are part of a large chain but the drives and time make them not profitable so they farm them out.
3 you are fixing an account that was previously cleaned by a sub and you are bringing them up to "snuff". You will not be paid a one time clean up for this work and will have to stick with the contract price. you will kept you as long as some new guy who thinks working all the time will pay the bills comes in and bids the work $5.00 less and they will go with them and drop you. (they will then call back in a year when the system is trashed out again and expect you to do this all over again.)
( Do you see a trend here)....
Find your own work unless you are hungry.

I have never done any work for these guys but sounds like Commercial Services, who did contact me and i got the same impression from them, they had the jobs bid really low and spread out across a huge area, they also required a 2 million insurance policy, no if and or buts.
Any of you guys deal with them? I think they deal with a lot of Costco's whats what they wanted me to pick up.
All most went for it but in the process of trying to up my insurance they found some one else, right before i was going to give me insurance the go on writing up a whole new policy.
Glad i didn't the new insurance would of cost me big time.

I take a lot of accounts from these guys.... Their prices are unbelievable, I can't believe people would do the work for that cheap.

i think it's commercial fire now, they do sub to people across the states. they handle all the needs of say big accounts. they sub out the Fire service and hood cleaning. I think they are based out of Florida, i think, like i said they where trying to give us the cosco's do you guys do any cosco's?

I got a guy in the fire service, he gets lots of accounts from these guys, wallmarts, cosco's, and a bunch more. He does enough work through them to make it worth while tho.

I'm not for sure it's the same people Ant showed in the tag, it seemed to me they let you put your own tag on when you do the work. Not for sure tho.

If you sub for CS you use THIER TAG and invoice exclusively. Costcos are easy to clean but the runs across the roofs are huge and the old stores do not have access off the kitchen area so you have to run the lines up and over or clean one duct then use it to run your hoses up through the clean one.
If you do do them Make sure they are aware you are coming 24 hrs in advance so they do not use the ovens that night. Also remove the rotisserie ovens from the hood since they are not water sealed and you can kill the motors in the quickly.
Also make sure the store is cleaner than you left it or you will hear about it and not get paid.
