Soda blasting hoods? - Aug 14th, 08, 03:54 PM

Has anyone here tried or seen soda blasting used on hoods? I was doing some reading on soda blasting and was thinking that if you used water then that may work pretty good. Also I was thinking of presoaking my filters in baking soda while I cleaned the hood. I dunno I was just thinking out loud but now that I have discovered that I can get my chemical a heck of alot cheaper now I could just soak the filters in it.

What are your thoughts?

Soaking your filters is the best way to clean them, IMO.
