Stone Wall Project...Almost complete - Jun 14th, 06, 12:53 PM

Home drive_edited-1.jpgStone wall inprogress 2_edited_edited-1.jpgStone wall resized_edited-1.jpg

Well if it will ever stop raining long enough, I might get this thing completed. This is a project I have been working on here and there. The steps will be tied iinto each rock so as to look as one peice or a massive stone step.
The middle pic is a building process for the stones, then detailing each stone by hand a little later.
As I was applying the colors, of coarse there was this loud BOOM from thunder and lightening, so I had to hurry to apply sealer. It is still wet and may have to rework a few colors.
The drive will get an overlay to finish the project.

I have two waterfalls in the works...pics coming soon!

Awesome Brent! Did you color with liquid or powder or a combo of both?

Both Liquids and powders. I came back over it with some lighter shades, b/c I thought it was too dark. It actually gives it more depth when I blended those in.
