Front porch gets a new look! - Aug 17th, 06, 03:14 PM

This is the front porch of a new builder we've just picked up (his personal home). Saw his final product today and I'm starting on two more of his homes in two weeks. Gotta love playing in mud, fingerpainting and collecting checks!

The first pic is of what his porch looked like - the all important "before" shot.
The second pic is how we get the pattern for the stones - yes it's tape.
The third pic is after we've applied the texture and pulled the tape.

This is the final product after coloring and sealing. I'll get pics of the project with the furniture put back on this weekend

Looks good Celeste, my next project is my front porch. The only practice I've done so far are my sample boards so the front porch will be fun and somewhat scary until I do a few more. Keep up the good work, looks great as usual!

Celeste, what is the product you are using there? I've been looking at a product called SpreadRock/SpreadStone/RollerRock...looks like you are doing something very similar.

Terry,

My products come from Pure Texture. It is vastly different from the SpreadRock & SpreadStone. I looked at that stuff before finding Wesley.

Great job C. Looks very cool.

If anybody in the northeast is thinking about adding this to their repetoire I am trying to get together enough people to convince Wesley and Co to come up north and host a seminar. Anyone interested please pm me.
