I thought Russel was contacting people via an empty Vino bottle with notes in them. Distributed or tossed into the Mississippi. I went to the beach and found a bottle washed ashore it was four states off so I redirected it in the tide. Gives new meaning to Wood Tux WET.....

Rick, point was first paragraph post #22 in case you missed..that is all. Thank you.

James, yea but can you imagine the logistics involved in getting it to drift through the canal without being shot by a gorilla let alone of it going towards the left and back up a river past the Bay? All sorts of weirdos tryin for my bottle...

Just wanted to say that I had not used HD80 previously and appreciate the "free" offer... I've gotten a chance to use it three times in the past week and will use again this coming Tuesday.

LOVE IT - LOVE IT - LOVE IT!!!

Pretty much everything around here is just run of the mill PT lumber from Home Depot or where ever with semi-transparent to semi-solid on it. Here is one from the beginning of this week - has some weird shadowing in the picture (was taken on my phone's camera) but came out looking great.

I will definitely be ordering a tub soon!

Before anyone says anything - I went back and fixed the darker spots in the clean/dry pic (3rd from left) before staining.

HD-80 is a great tool to keep on hand. Has been for years. Glad you found it and tried it.

As I have told some of you on the phone, and also posted in a notice, we have been having a range of difficulties with our communications since late June. Due to excessive flooding we had to move the physical address of our main phone service.

Sounds easy enough however between voice, digital and toll free service, it has taken nearly a month to get everything straightened out. During this time, I have not been able to get online near as much as I would have liked.

I this point everything is stable and functioning properly.

That being said, I will address a few issues raised here.

First, Kevin, to say that you could not find a way to get in touch with me is completely ridiculous. My contact information is readily available. Even with the phone troubles we have been having, daily there has been at least two ways of getting in touch with me directly. If what you wanted was my personal e-mail address, you might have been better served simply posting . . ."does anyone have Russell's direct e-mail?"

imrcc1@aol.com <-straight to me, also forwards to my Blackberry
support@woodrichbrand.com <Forwards to my main e-mail pretty quick, also forwards to Blackberry but often takes over 24 hours.

I did in fact confirm that you had registered prior to the promotional offer. Now in most cases I would overlook this because it is advantageous to have someone try a proven product. In this case, I was a little upset by your approach so, no free soap has been sent to you.

Next. . .anyone who has registered after the promotion was posted either has or will receive their free product. We are not handling these like "orders" they are not getting processed immediately. We have been doing them in batches.

I will look at/confirm all the new listings Monday. If it is someone I recognize great, if not, I will call to confirm. At that point, I send the batch over so that individual pick orders can be generated. If you have not received your free product and you are in a hurry, or if you have already scheduled a project to test your free product on, give me a call.

Finally. . .Someone raised the point of where I work from. If it matters to anyone I can tell you most of the time I work from home or on the road. Sometimes I am working at the lab, sometimes I am at the warehouse. If I am at the lab I am either working on a problem or something fun. Either way, I may not be taking calls. If I am at the warehouse, I am always working on a problem and will likely not answer my phone.

If you don't reach me at 636-288-8512 you are not going to reach me personally at any other number. There is no need to leave me a message unless your number is not available to caller ID or you can only be reached through a certain extension. I return all of my missed calls from my call log.

When I am not driving around to meet someone or pick something up I work from home. Plain and simple, I prefer to be there and work better without all the distractions.

Regarding the "fragile" state of my location, it was not just my home that was flooded. This was rated a 500 year flood. Many of the supporting utility and communications sub stations were effected. It was declared a national disaster because thousands of homes and businesses were effected.

I could choose to set up shop further from the river to fully insulate myself from this inconvenience. The way I read the odds, I am pretty safe here, If I move a volcano, earthquake, tornado, hurricane or tsunami is liable to get me.

"It is also a real good idea to be sure that you include your shipping address or e-mail it to us if you are not already registered with our online store."
HMMM..seems this offer had nothing to do with a registration or an existing registration and WAS ALL ABOUT A "LISTING"..You talk about "if not already registered with online store" as if it is ok that they are already involved with you over there and now your saying it a no go for folks already registered?, Oh you just mean if they registered on the forum it a no go?.. I never had no LISTING and if I had been registered on a store with you I would have likely had a forum profile/registration as well. Pretty much everyone that would now be considered eligiable for your offer would have had to call you or drum up yer email. Could be that I am one of the real few actually eligiable for the offer as I truly have not tried the product or had your info in my head. How many of these store people already tried your stuff Russell?

Didn't really have any questions. So why call you?

Quote:
"For those who have properly completed their contractor listing, provided a shipping address and indicated their free product choice, your soap is on the way!"
Did that and you been back in here acknowledging pm was ok , you know it, AND you also received an email from me (probably the addy you just listed) prior to yours and mines last few posts. Please check it.

Quote:
"I would prefer an e-mail but I suppose that will do."
You sure?..lol
After you apparently changed your mind on pm being acceptable is when I attempted an email route through your 'feedback' email. Access to email addy's for you is not friendly. So is first one you give, way after the fact btw, the 'feedback' email? That where you want addresses sent to?. ----was the only available on that site unless tracking down a profile so that is where I sent to.

Ya sound like the soup Natzi from Sienfeld..lol..
--I missed the registration nulling the offer, so I don't understand 'overlook'. Others, both existing and new registrations apparently didn't require being overlooked..they just received soap perhaps with no issue.
