If you read carefully, the whole point was to help homeowners find wood restoration professionals in their area. There were a number of steps involved leading to a company listing in the Contractor Connection forum.

You had already placed your listing long before the promotion. This is not some conspiracy against you. You talk about "a matter of principle" do you honestly feel that you were entitled to participate in this promotion?

As I said before, I would gladly have overlooked that in most cases, I just don't respond favorably to contrived requests made by someone who is simultaneously bashing me.

Im pretty sure I had my listing up (or at least my gallery) up long before the free soap offer was made. The way I read the offer didn't necessitate me re registering. (I did change names but that was unrelated) I still got my free HD80 just fine.

Whether the email was accessible or not, I'm sure you could have simply called and left a message with your address for someone and explained that you registered early

Nothing is contrived or being misread here on my part nor do I believe there is a conspiracy. But then again, if someone is tweeting in yer ear this or that and your acting on it due to loss of braincells..lol

Let me explain it to ya more clearly by showing you your own offer and wording:

Creating a listing is pretty easy and should only take a few min.

1. Visit www.woodrichbrand.com and click on the Discussion Board link.
2. Click the Register tab just above the Forum
3. Create your profile. I strongly recommend choosing a user name reflective of your company such as Colorado ProWash. This identifies you as a professional and will also help visitors recognize additional contributions you might make in the forum community such as answering homeowner questions.

Once you have registered you can immediately create your company listing in the Contractor Referral forum.

A forum membership/registration, or company name/profile IS NOT the 'listing'. This has always been about making that company listing/thread post in the referral section period. That is what the potential HO is to go off and that is the thing you apparently had a time in getting across to the people wishing to take part in your offer. Look you even attempted to clear it up after people weren't gettin their soap--

To be clear, the free soap incentive is for creating a Contractor Listing in the Contractor Referral section of the forum under Contractor Connection.

Yes yours went up Nov. 6TH. You or I changing our forum names/handles on any of these forums or sites have absolutley nothing to do with the offer.

All I can tell you is that it was brought to my attention that you had already created your listing prior to the offer. As I recall you were one of the first to place your listing.

As I said, normally this would not be a big deal, however in the time it took me to reestablish an Internet connection after the move, you had already started bashing me.

The listing that went up June 11th is your second listing. Because I feel like you did this more to make yourself "right" than to help a homeowner the industry or ESI, I choose not to send you soap based on a second listing. That is not disingenuous, it is my prerogative.

I have batched out free samples twice to others who have registered. The most recent registrations have been confirmed and will ship out tomorrow. Within 3 -5 days you will be the only registered listing who was not compensated with soap.

Those who registered before the offer and received a free sample anyway achieved that through the exchange of a please and thank you. You are the only one who has tossed around accusations of being misled.

Re-read the forum rules and take your complaints directly to the vendor via phone or email. This area is for vendors to bring about promotions and make offers.
You are bashing this vendor and according to this particular forums rules it is not allowed.

This thread will be edited to conform to a professional tone and I think you should consider how this makes you look. It was reported by a number of people who clearly think it is out of line and in my opinion it does not reflect on you or your business well.

All ya had to do BnR was to ask for mellowing down of harsh truth... cutting away facts and truth of my last post which is in direct response to Russell's lies and misleadings is as wrong as it can get. Hardly unfair at all that your gonna leave lies up by one fella then make an opinion on my professionalizm after hacking up my postings. No proof but your imply that I said anything so off topic or bashing. You saying my last post was any dfferent than the others? Maybe they all deserve a good hacking eh?. Actually - I HINTED at it a long time ago when I mentions I was so glad to see everyone getting along. And I really do not think that it is too much to ask for adults to monitor their own behavior. Follow the rules. Take your issues offline, and get them resolved.

I'll deal with the rest of it later. I have a business to run and a day to get started, and it's bad enough to have to deal with this at like 6:30 am over my first cup of coffee. Show some restraint and respect - ALL OF YOU.
