ESI's New Web Store - Feb 27th, 07, 04:36 PM

After reviewing our customer satisfaction surveys, we decided it was time to make some changes. Our lowest customer ranking was in product availability and ease of ordering. The bottom line is our customers didn't like our existing web store and they didn't like our shipping policy. Those two key areas are where we made the greatest changes.

Our new web store is very intuitive and easy to use. In addition our new systems, allow us to offer you 24-48 hour turn around on most items! You will also see some of our other products available in the new store.

We've tried to include the information that is important to you as a contractor. We will be adding even more content over the next few weeks. I would like to invite you to visit our new store and take a moment to register.

Registration only takes about 3 minutes. You've only got to enter in your basic company information. The greatest benefit of registration is that it allows me to set you up for contractor discount pricing. Don't be afraid of the list prices you see on your first visit, as a contractor, you are entitled to a discount. Once I am notified that you've registered, I will turn on your discount prices.

Please feel free to send me any feedback you have. Our goal is to make your experience as enjoyable as possible.

you will find the new store at Extreme Solutions - Quality Restoration Products

Thank you

NOTE:
If you were already registered on our old store, you should receive the following e-mail notification:

I've set up your account in our new web store using the information you entered in our old web site. Your Log-in ID is your e-mail address, and the password is currently set to: woodrich. (all lowercase)

I've also set your account up to receive contractor discount pricing. You should see new lower prices on many of our wood restoration chemicals. While the cost of stain has gone up, your discount means that your price stays about the same. If you don't see a Member's Price: for each item, you are not logged in.

I hope that you find the new site more user friendly. I encourage you to visit the site and reset your password. Please give me a call if you have any questions.

Thank you

I really like that feature. It's nice that customers researching the products we use will only see the list price.

Russell - love the website - and I am sold on the woodtux product. The thing is - I would love to come up with a tiered system of using all your products. Basically if I choose to use woodrich and a competitor chooses to use woodtux - does that mean he/she is doing better quality work than me? Perhaps - that is why I was wondering if you had any ideas/comments about approaching customers as to what level of quality they want. Heck if I have lower paying customers - yet can mate them to your parafinnic stain - I could do a job on budget and still make the same profits - they just didn't pay as much - and of course the job won't last as long. Any thoughts?

Charlie,

With the new contractor pricing in place there was no need for the 30 LB bundle. If you combing your new contractor price with the quantity discount for buying 3-10 LB tubs, you cost is less than what you paid for the 30 LB bundle.

You can view the additional quantity discounts by clicking on a product name or image and then clicking the "view quantity discounts" button.

Each formula represents a different tool. You can achieve the same level of quality and protection with either Wood-Tux or Woodrich Brand Stain & Seal. The difference would be in how you apply them. For example:

You have two identical decks, both 1 year old red cedar, exactly 1,000 square feet, prepped and ready to stain.

Deck 1 Wood-Tux
You will use 5 gallons of stain at a cost of $139.00
You will get one coat coverage and can expect 3 - 4 years of protection.

Deck 2 Woodrich Bran Stain & Seal
You will use 6 - 6.5 gallons of stain at a cost of $154.80+/-
You will apply one heavy followed by one light coat and can expect 3 - 4 years of protection.

You might also choose to stick with one coat of Woodrich S&S at a cost of $129.00 and expect 2 - 3 years of protection.

Because Wood-Tux is higher in resin and pigment solids it takes roughly 20% less product to get the same protection. In most cases you will find that even though Wood-Tux is higher priced, your cost per use will be lower because you use less material and less time installing it.

Wood-Tux will always outperform Woodrich Brand Stain & Seal on damp or wet wood. Most of the time Wood-Tux will cover with just one coat while Woodrich Brand Stain & Seal will most always require two coats on damp or wet wood.

On older, dry wood, Woodrich Brand Stain & Seal will penetrate deeper into the wood to help condition the wood on the inside as well as protect at the surface. On older, dry wood, (10 years+) you will almost always have to apply two coats of Woodrich Brand Stain & Seal to get a rich beautiful finish. Wood-Tux will give you a beautiful surface finish with just one coat, however may not penetrate all the way into the dry wood.

Then finally there is Woodrich Brand Timber Oil. Timber Oil is a deep conditioning stain. It is ideal for severely dry wood, or any time fast finishing is your goal. Used alone, it offers good one to two year protection on horizontals. Timber Oil is a great low cost wood fence treatment. If you work on a lot of older cedar homes, you should try an application of Timber Oil followed by a top coat of Wood-Tux. This two step approach delivers an unbelievably beautiful, high quality finish with outstanding depth and rich color.

Yes, as long as your sprayer is compatible with the solution that you are using Hang Time to thicken.

If you have never used Hang Time before, please give me a call prior to mixing it for the first time. It requires very little Hang Time (about 3 oz/gallon) to get the right viscosity. If you go much over that, you will end up with jello.
