A Quick Word About Taginator... - Sep 18th, 08, 02:57 PM

Hey everyone -

If there is anyone out there contemplating whether or not they should add graffiti removal to their arsenal, you have GOT to try Taginator. I used it today for the first time on brick. I didn't take pics (forgot the darn camera), but the reults were AMAZING. I found it to be expensive, but it's worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. The paint just melted off the brick...great stuff!

What ya pay?...does it seem to hold better on verticles then the potassium hydroxide and glycol would allow on its own or is it so much better than a can of oven cleaner can do?

Hey Kevin - Can't really say...I never tried potassium hydroxide/glycol or oven cleaner. The Taginator rocked, though. I'm curious about oven cleaner...does it truly work for spray paint on brick? Does it leave a shadow of any kind?

Oven cleaner works fine for me...haven't done much grafiti removal though. Has always been on wood fence so..
Most the stripper stuff available is hydroxide based ya know until ya get into meth chloride or the soy solvent type stuff. I don't know that there is any magic in the taginator compared to what we mix up or buy for wood stripping or even what I use on my floor finish strip jobs that I all too often get into.
Likely main difference is verticle hold.
