What chems are you guys using to remove spray paint from aluminum buildings, brick, etc. I would be using 4GPM hot water.

On brick, we would use a sodium hydroxide product. The SH may damage the coating on the aluminum though. There is a product made especially for grafitti removal from aluminum and other painted metals (box cars for trains I think) but I can't remember who makes it.

I'm going to use some of this on a paver retaining wall tomorrow.

I've never used it on alum. before, but on brick and concrete it really works, but isn't cheap! I get it locally.

I think the non-masonry surface product is called Tagaway.

It looks impressive. I might order a 32 oz bottle of each to try and sell it. The city does a lot of this work for public places using convicts. THey usually just supply the labor and you supply the paint. THey don't even try to remove it. I think the real market is in truck rentals and dumpster co's. that get tagged.

Could those who have used Tagaway... Can you use this product on Masonite siding? Kinda like hardy plank siding that is commonly seen here in the south.

Need quick reply. Have apartment complex in need of some vandalizism.
