Thank you everyone. Dwell time was about 15-20 min. I needed to re-apply and let dwell another 10-15 min because I am only a cold water operation. For only another two weeks thank God. Getting a Hydrotek 3500/6gpm skid. With hot water it is a one shot deal. The stuff is amazing. On walls you can literally watch the paint run off. They have also what is called Tagaway for painted surfaces.

Thanks

I swear by the stuff. The company that makes/distributes it is ETS. They are located about 3 miles from me. Good guys. I get all of my gear there.

All around, best stuff I've ever used. Worth its weight in gold. Had a problem with it once leaving a funny stain on an apt building. Manufacturer suggested using oxalic to neutralize, the proporty manager said leave it,the whole building was being painted in two months.

Has any one else ran into this before??????????????

coverage?? - Sep 26th, 06, 05:11 PM

So the web site is less than helpful as far as coverage rate. How much product did it take for that sidewalk?

Also on the tagaway how much for spray paint on painted surface? Would you say that it would be about the same as spraying 409 or something out of a spray bottle till it is all very wet? Does a quart or gallon go a long way(like a couple of jobs)?

Scott

Sorry it took so long to answer,
Phil, it is hard to give that because i am able to charge more because of location. I charged about $1.60 sq/ft.

Anthony, It was there about 2 months.

Rich, cannot say I have ever had that problem yet.

Scott, It took me about 4 gals for that job but remember I had to re-apply. You must keep the area wet during dwell time. If you are applying to a vertical surface you might have to keep giving it a light spray when it starts to dry. As far as the tagaway, yes spray it to make it wet. It all depends on the type of jobs you are doing to see how much you will need or use. On painted surfaces you just spray, dwell and wipe.

How much is it per gallon? What wat the cost per square foot to use it?
It looks like it works GREAT!
