Smile Egg, ink and paint graffiti omelet. - Jan 26th, 07, 11:43 PM

Well, I guess my demo really made quite an impression at the local High School. I removed a couple of small tag areas over brick using Taginator with excellent results. Now I've been asked to provide an estimate to remove small tags (paint) on different walls, what looks like black marker on brick and painted surfaces, a dozen or so old egg splatters on stucco (about 15' up on the wall) and the most challenging: gum stuck at eye level on a brick wall, a line of gum stretching 36 inches. And more gum in onother couple of high visibility areas. The tools: 4000 psi 4gpm cold water unit 150' pressure hose, steam machineand surface cleaner. The chemicals:Taginator & Tagaway I should have no problem with tags on brick and painted surfaces. For old egg explosions I guess XJet a good dose of love and soap then rinse. The gum issue...I have a a really cool tool called a Eurosteamer, I can shoot continuosly or burst steam thru brush nozzles from the size of a penny to a 12" wide pass. Now what chemical can we use to pre-treat the gum spots? (Most of the gum to be removed is not the ground kind, its the stuck on the walls and sitting areas kind)I have some DoradoZolve I can try but any suggestions are absolutely welcome. Oh and how to price a mixed batch of problems? I'm going with a hourly rate because I will be setting up in the front to work one area of the school to detag, xjet egg out, steam out gum, finish, roll up then set up in the back and repeat.

I have successfully removed gum using a hotwater pressure washer and a product called SafeRestore by EcoChem. SafeRestore will remove the shadows.
