WRAPI update

Since the WRAPI org. came up a couple of times in that PWNA thread how about an update on what the WRAPI org. has been up to.

I have a few questions about them:

1- Who are the current Board of Directors of this Org. and who is the President??

2- Are the board of Directors Bonded to protect them from any potential legal problems that can spring up at any given time??

3- Does WRAPI have any plans in the near future to do any type of get together such as a roundtable or a convention etc.?

4- Is WRAPI still trying to grow its membership and if so thru what channels are they doing this since I haven't seen anything about them lately??

5- Is there any sponsored WRAPI events scheduled??(Similiar to question #3)

6- Does WRAPI have a current business plan that they would like to share??

7- Where has WRAPI been??

I suggest you take the same approach that PWNA requests others to take, call the office if you are interested. Neither organization wants to address questions online.

After much thought, the thread has been reopened. However, it will be monitored. This BBS is known for being tough on professionalism, we all try very hard to do the right things. That is not always easy.

This has been a very difficult day for me as well, in addition to dealing with these threads, I have been in extreme pain (tears) due to my back being out. (yes I went to a Dr) But that's not your problem, it is my problem. However, when I have a hard time dealing with these things due to the pain, well, then I feel I owe all of you that explanation. I am doing my best. If it is not good enough, well, the way I feel right now is - too bad.

I'm going back into hidding now before I get my hand slapped I've found a low profile approach to these type of one sided debates is best.

Well, that is understandable since they seem to have left out a name. You should let them know that signatures without a name is in violation of the new TGS signature rules.

If the WRAPI org. does not want to answer questions thru the bulletin boards I can respect that. The PWNA also took this route. As for me I never agreed with this direction because I am a believer that for better or worse all avenue's of communication should be left open.

Anybody who wants to know about WRAPI and what there up to should do as requested and call them.

I'm sorry, but I do not follow the logic here. Why would anyone without an ulterior motive wish to prohibit discussion about a vendor or org that is actively soliciting big bucks from PW contractors?

John doesn't want to see the BBS or Rod and I personally hurt. Pretty straight forward. See, he started the thread, and saw the repercussions, and knowing what 1) I am dealing with personally/physically now and 2) seeing the microscope you are sticking us under, well I think it is simple - he regrets posting it. I don't blame him.

If Wrapi were Contractors, Manufacturers, or Distributors: the rules would apply. Wrapi however is an orgamization so it seems to have fell thru the cracks. More than one person can represent Wrapi.
Didn't you quit the business? Why do you have such an interest in this anyway?
