Do you want to volunteer your help? - Nov 22nd, 07, 05:33 PM

Would you like to volunteer to help and establish a new organzation?

As an org we have to take our first steps first. We have to get the little things...the name....the mission...the bylaws...the articles and paperwork establishing the org - that all has to be nailed down first. We also have to establish both short and long term goals, with milestone markers along the way of items that need to be accomplished. We will need multiple committees to work on various tasks. Look at your own skill sets and see where your strengths are and what you are comfortable doing to help with this....next, realistically think about how much TIME per week or month you can donate to this.

No one is going off half cocked. We are all working on the first step, not the 50th one. And we need all the bodies we can get....Can you help?

If you are interested in helping add yourself to this thread and be sure to include your email address. Let us know where your talents are and what you would be interested in helping with.

Beth

I would help if i seen some plans, maybe a business plan short term and long term first.

If you had those ready and i like it my check book is open and i know a mang company would supply the by-laws any way you want them for about 500.

I will throw my name in the hat for a bit. Not too sure that I will be able to do much. Just finished my first year in this business.

I have been on the Executive Council of a union (100% volunteer) for 6 years. Two of those were in the Chairman seat. I will try to help where I can. Things can be a bit hectic for me from now until after the first of the year, but let me know if you want my help.

Lightbulb volunteering my time for setup - Nov 26th, 07, 09:06 AM

I volunteered on a previous thread as did several others

Do we have to keep chasing threads around just to volunteer
or perhaps set up a general "volunteer" thread for those interested
would probably be more concentrated.
just my .02.

Ron Santana (and anyone else who volunteered in this thread),
I just got back in town from the holidays, sorry this took so long. I have set you up so you can get to the work area. It is not really busy right now ( we just had a Holiday week) but hopefully this week we will see some activity. Thanks for your patience, let me know if you can't see the forum. It should be just under this one.

I'm in, what do you need help with? My "skill set" would include: recruiting, hosting local round tables, mentor to newbies, ???. My "skill set" does NOT include: writing biz plan, accounting or any other "minding" activities.
