The first leader new UAMCC should be Carlos if he wants it. -

Carlos deserves to at the very least be offered the UAMCC presidency!! If I was on the TT team I would with the guys backing me ask him to consider that position.. A good Org has a strong and Very Passionate but not blinded by his position person and Carlos ranks very high on my very short list...probably the highest. Make it the highest.
Whatever way Carlos decides to go my hat will always be off to him.....WHAT A GREAT GREAT JOB him and his guys have taken. And just think it wasn't to long ago when I was on the inside be Carlos and a few other discussing this org via conference calls. Carlos was my invite to be on these calls and if there was one good thing I did for this whole shebang was inviting Carlos to participate and he did so with an open minn and soon with a vision. Some of us on that call especially yours truly knew we had someone special and Carlos is.......that guy..... Dang John....talk about a very humbling read. I appreciate your kind words and support. The UAMCC is not about me nor the Transition Team.....it's about the contractor community.
Right now I do not have any plans to change my mind about my original position with the UAMCC....and that was to get this train going for someone else to take it and run with. I know that myself and the transition team feel that when we part from the UAMCC grind....the organization will be handed off to capable hands. It is too early today to even speak on the proposed pres and board of directors and the UAMCC still needs some time and resources to get the engine to remain operational. The transition team that works with me on the UAMCC are the true warriors in this endeavor. As I told Scott Stone prior to him coming onboard as a member of the UAMCC Transition Team....I am just directing traffic. If I was a contractor on the outside looking in ~ I would not vote on anyone that only has accomplished part of the bigger picture, which is how I view my progress so far with the responsibilities of the UAMCC. With this said, we on the UAMCC and the contractor community have crossed much together in the last 6 months and I feel there have been favorable results. HOWEVER, there is much to be done. John, your a champ and will always be champ in my book...even after we retire someday from washing. The only thing that I would want from the industry after the transition team fades away is that the contractor community will continue to do right for themselves through the UAMCC ~ meaning take care of the organization and don't let the words....for contractors by contractors fade away like some distant memory. I guess what I am trying to say is that I appreciate the words of encouragement but the UAMCC will need more than what I can offer at the end of the day. Plus I want to eventually go to all the RT's there are and enjoy and stay out late after mid-night....God I am getting old!! Carlos, Others,
Very nice post. We as a team know our positions and what we do to help the Organization. We also know there are a lot of individuals who will fill the shoes we leave and have the experience and fortitude to the right thing. Together we will make it work. By the way, I'm not daydreaming! Just trying to absorb all the thoughts and ideas passed around that day. LOL Terry Miller Canton, Ohio 44708 330-418-8955 Quality-Price-Service |
