Step one: You need a high GPM pressure washer (8GPM+) to help deal with the amount of dirt involved...unless they have a high flow hose setup similar to a firemans hose that they use to preclean their equipment of the heavy dirt before you have to wash it...

Dont forget the hot water if you need to degrease. Heavy equipment is fun.

We have done some Oil Field work and use two rigs each 5.5 GPM 3500 p.s.i and 210 deg water. We use a flojet to apply degreasor and do ok. We charge an hourly rate per rig on this type of work.
