Fleet Washing - Jun 22nd, 07, 10:12 PM

Hello People, I am thinking about getting into Fleet Washing but do not know much about it or if I will even like it. I was wondering if there is anyone that I could go train with for a day or a couple of days like on the weekend to learn more about Fleet Washing. Please let me know. Thanks.

Have you talked to Mike Hinderliter from Steamaway? I think he's in your back yard, Dallas if I remember right. He might hire you and I think he has some instructional videos to help you out as well.....

Fleetwash has damaged their reputation by dealing with substandard powerwashers who are hacks, as jetstream says. But they created their own monster by bidding everything so low, feeling they needed to do this to get the national contracts. That was stupid because all you will get are the hacks to do the work and many times not even they will do it, AND you've driven the price down(and potential profit) for everyone, making all powerwashers MAD! Don't be afraid of fleetwash. They've made a lot of fleet managers so unhappy that they won't deal with them any longer, and unless they change their business practices, the trend will continue. One thing to think about tho':Large companies like fleetwash and the associations we belong to to lobby for our interests in WASHING-ton(I don't think it's a coincidence!) to compete with extremists.

Thanks for the info. I have not seen Fleetwash here. This city is not that big like Houston, San Antonio or Dallas so I doubt I will ever see them here. Thanks again.

Signatures kinda confused me too but I finally figured it out. Go to user cp on the bar at the top of this page, click "edit signature", then enter some info about yourself, website, what type of cleaning your into, phone #, etc.....Then it gives you a preview so you can see if it will display how you like it. If not, change it, then post!
