14 foot box trucks

they will be clean 2 times a month

I had to out due Fleet Wash prices...yea good luck on that

$8 to $13, depending on day washed, travel time, are there other accounts locally so you could pick those up at the same time minimizing drive time, reclaim, are they stationary or do you have to move them, etc...

I went for 13.50 a truck roll in 2 step and roll out
the drive is about 15 min and I have most of my work around
Fleet wash were the ones that had the account but the term is up and the guy is getting bids i was the 4th bid

And if i do not get them oh well just would be nice to pick up some extra work
they are stationary Ill post if I get it

I hope you do get it. It sounds like a nice account, and at $13.50 it would be decent money as well. Fleetwash/Allied Fleetwash has really ruined their reputation down there in Florida so I wouldn't be surprised if you do get it, even if you are higher compared to them.

I had a friend call them and he told them he had 15 box trucks and ask how much to wash 2 times a month they told him oh around 15-20 but we might go cheaper.So i went with the 13.50

It was fleet wash..how ever I will not go as low as 8.50 a truck let em keep it
that was the winning bid the guy told me i was 5 bucks to high..oh well life moves on

Keep your chin up, Jetstream. Sooner or later the prices have to start climbing. All the costs on our end keep going up. Everybody will have to start charging more eventually. We can't continue to do it for nothing!

I just lost another store to fleetwash at 8 a truck and they are now doing the inside as well. for 8 dollars a truck inside and out and they come week days between 7-9 pm. I don't know how the can stay in business. The driving distance round trip from the stores I have lost is 52 miles not including my starting point just store to store. This is a national company that should be raising the standards of the industry not hurting it!

Well then again look at wall-mart cheaper gets you big.Thats why I do not shop there or H.D STORES I like Ace I pay a tad more but you are in and out with out standing waiting around for the help. Hang in there we will find a way to beat FLEET CRAP ....ONE DAY
