New Spot Free Rig Set-up. Need Help.. - Jan 4th, 08, 04:19 PM

Hey Guys, I've Been In The Fleet Washing Business For Three And A Half Years Now And Have Never Really Bothered With The Car Lot Scene. I Have About 35 Car Lots Calling Me Begging For Me To Put Together A Crew. I Am Guessing That The Carlot Competiton Around Here Isn't Up To Par!! I Figure With That Many Car Lots I Will Have To Make Money If I Get The Rig Set-up Properly And Efficiently. I Have No Idea How To Set Up A Deionized System. I Have Three Trucks Set Up For Fleets But Not With D-i Water. In The Summer We Wash 25-30 Nhra And Sprint Car Team Transporters Weekly. Which Takes Us 1 Hour Each To Wash, Dry, And Wipe Down Now. D-i Will Cut That To 2 Or 3 An Hour Easily. Any Help, Pics, Or Ideas Would Be Great. Thanks Guys........good Luck In The Upcoming Year To All!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey Breen,
I'm going to a DI system as well. I've bought mine but have not recieved it yet (ordered it just before new Years). So, Obviously I have not much to say or offer besides the fact that I think this will be the wave of the future. I bought my unit from a guy named Shawn Gavin, his company is Reach Higher Ground-Home Page He seemed very knowledgable and honest but that is far as I will go - check him out for yourself (I don't know him well enough to make him my recommendation).

At the very least you should get a TDS (total desolved solids) meter to evaluate your water purification needs. If you have high solids over 150 parts per million you will need more equipment - more upfront money.

Hope this helps, Tim

Hey Thanks Tim. Which System Did You Order? Let Me Know When You Get It And How It Works. I Was Looking At The $2,100 System Online But I'm Not Sure.

Hey,
Give me a call I do a lot of fleets and semi-trucks that are black and use a certain water softening system that is extremely cost effective and efficient!
