Job cleaning a Rock Crusher in Galveston, TX - Feb 25th, 08, 06:23 PM

I just got a call from a guy in Miami that needs a rock crusher washed. It is located in the Port of Galveston, Texas and they will be loading it onto a ship on February 28 or 29 so the work would need to be done before then.
I do not know how big it is or what it looks like but he said something like it is 100' long so if anyone is in the Galveston/Houston/Louisiana area and has hot water, let me know either by phone or email or pm me as he wants to talk to that person direct.
Maybe something like this?
Screen Machine Industries, Inc. Portable Crushing Plants
If interested, let me know.

Thats good work Chris. I used to wash some of those a couple times a year for transport, still do some of them form time to time. If your not doing a full degrease cold water will work fine, high flow will also save a ton of time on it.

I was seriously thinking about it but I asked for a model number and pictures so I could see what I would be getting into.Never sent any pictures or any information. Maybe it is still on the dock and he is getting charged for it sitting there? I am sure that he found someone. As expensive as that sounds, I am sure he would want it on the ship asap so it will be under the custody of the carrier. He told me that it was last year's model and would only have some dust on it from being transported from Montanna. I think more like road film and might need some brushing. No water supply in the area so that adds to the price.O Well.

It sounds like the amount a van could carry wouldn't get it done. Sorry Mean Gene! I didn't think so. Plus, if you're by the waterfront, you've got "Clean Water Act" issues up the wazuu. No thanks! Good luck trying to put that on a mat!!
