water temperature - May 24th, 08, 10:42 AM

I wash fleet cars. I am currently using heated water at 100 degrees. Is anyone using a decreased temperature to save on diesel fuel? The cars that I clean now come out great and want to keep it that way but would like to save on cost. The cost of diesel fuel is sucking up my profit.

I would suggest raising your prices accordingly. Everyone realizes that the cost of fuel is putting the pinch on every industry, ours included. Don't give your services away, or lose money just to keep an account. Pass the cost on to the customer.
