    Cement Trucks

    Hey everybody-

Looking at trying to get a contract with a local, mid-sized cement truck fleet. They have the traditional cement trucks that you often see but then they also have tractor/trailers. The trailers have caked on cement on the tops and sides and I wash wondering if there is anything out there that takes that off. I haven't tried to wash one yet. Trying to figure out how hard the job would be and if anybody has had experience with these kinds of trucks before I decide if the job is worth it.

    Thanks!

Ever watch dirty jobs? Hammer and chisel. Once it is stuck on it has to be broken off.

Hey Russ...I have a concrete pump that I use for my concrete installs which I have a pretty decent amount of concrete stuck on the shooter...probably 1/4" to 1/2" thick in some areas. Will this product remove this?

Yes. Maybe not all at once, after all it didn't get there all at once. Depending on the severity of buildup, it may take several applications to thoroughly clean the surface.

Could you use that to remove year(s) old mortar on brick homes? Do you think it would or could damage the mortar between the bricks? I am thinking using a very light mixture.
I have seen mortar blotches that were not removed with the post construction on some homes and wondering if this could be used for that since years have gone by and was not removed.

Maybe. It may also attack the mortar joints a little.

I used it on my fireplaces in the house. Beautiful old antique (house is over 100 years old) brick and some former owner plastered over them and painted. We chipped all the plaster off, but it left a residue and chunks stuck to the brick. Diluted the SCR in a spray bottle, used a stiff scrub brush, and rinsed with clear water in another spray bottle, then toweled dry. They came out beautifully.
