How Long Does It Take - Oct 6th, 06, 11:59 PM

I Have To Submit A Bid For Washing Tractors And Trailers, (i Am Just Getting Into Fleet Washing). My Queation Is About How Long Does It Take To Wash A Dual Axle Tractor And A 53' Trailer No Frame Or Engine Just Paint? I Know Their Are Alot Of Factors To Consider But I Am Looking For A Ball Park So I Can Figure Out My Pricing.

Thanks Alot
Jerry

hmmm, it all depends.
I can wash with one other guy 5 tractors and 5 trailers in about an hour with one other guy. I have heard others take up to 45 minutes to just wash a tractor.

Thanks Scott, I Know This Isn't A One Answer Question I'm Just Hoping For Some Feed Back To Get An Average. I Also Know I Will Be A Little Slower Until I Get The Hang Of It.

Thanks Again

Like Scott said there are a lot of factors but with our 2 man crew it takes about 3 min each, mabye 5 min if brushing. A one man crew, with experience can do it in 5 -10 min each as well. For a beginner I would figure 10 to 20 min each. And like Scott said you will have an occasional 45min one once in a while. If you need any help you can always give me a call.
