Need help with bid for an HOA

A local HOA has asked me to submit a two part bid.One part entails monthly general pressure washing maintenance on playground equip in 3 separate parks totaling approx 5,000 sq ft.The second part of the bid is strictly for graffiti removal in those same areas,on an as needed basis. This is where my confusion comes in.How can I bid on removing graffiti that is not presently there?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just bill them by the hour for graiffiti removal. Its a little easier since there is nothing there at the moment. Not sure what it cost you to run your business, but charge enough to cover all your expenses and make a decent profit. Or you can do what we do. Since you will be doing the flat work on a monthly basis, do the graiffiti removal for free. You are there any ways. Spray the chem, let dwell, do some flat work, rinse the graiffiti off do some more flat work. Alot of guys offer that service free to most PM's and restaurants. Just my .02

Thats exactly what I was thinking, but I dont want to get into a position where another part of the community(separate from the parks)gets "tagged",and be expected to clean it for free.Any words of wisdom on how to put this in the contract?

Why not have a minimum charge for a minimum cleaning. How much time does it take to set up and take down for an hour of graffittee removal, 10 minutes, 15 minutes? What is the drive time to that job site. You do not want them to call you for only 15 minutes of work.

Just word it in the proposal that the free graiffiti removal is for the parks only and any other location will be charged on a as needed basis
